Barrie, Ont., June 30, 2010 –A sunny and blustery Windsday greeted the BAGS Junior Tour players at Settlers’ Ghost GC for the week six stop. For the second time in three weeks Elmvale’s Nikki Belcourt and Barrie’s Corinne Grans-Wood met in a playoff to decide who took top spot in the Girls division with Grans-Wood victorious in the first extra hole this time around. Lani Subad of Orillia backed up her victory at Osprey Valley last week with another win by shooting a fine 88 in the Bantam Girls Division. Wasaga Beach’s Matthieu Orr (80) nipped Orillia’s John Willsey (81) by one shot to take the Bantam Boys title. Barrie residents James Quinn-Rabot and Branson Ferrier tied for top spot in the Juvenile section with Quinn-Rabot taking the title by retrogression**. Taylor Steele of Wyevale fired the low score of the day shooting 76 to take the Junior Boys title. Simran Dhatt-Gauthier of Sudbury rolls along with his fifth victory of the year in the Minor Bantam group shooting 86.
