
Gravenhurst’s Krista Thorpe took advantage of home course knowledge to take the girls title at the BAGS Junior Tour tournament held at Muskoka Highlands.

Sudbury’s Jordi Walker captured the BAGS Junior Tour Muskoka Invitation held at Muskoka Highlands by dropping a ten foot put on the first extra hole to take the Bantam division over Max McVey of Collingwood. Both finished regulation play with scores of 79.
Bracebridge, On., June 6th: Sudbury golfers take two of the five titles up for grabs at the BAGS Junior Invitation held at Muskoka Highlands. A gloomy day quickly turned sunny as Simran Dhatt-Gauthier and Jordi Walker made Sudbury proud by winning the Minor Bantam and Bantam divisions. It took extra holes for Walker to triumph as he edged out Max McVey of Collingwood. Both shot 79 in regulation play. Michael Vance of Aurora took the Juvenile crown with a fine 72 and Orangeville’s Jack Shoreman matched that score to top the Junior group. Home town girl Krista Thorpe posted the lowest score for the girls division with an 84.
