Tournament Preparation Day Camp:

Location: The Golf Academy at The Georgian Bay Club
Details:
The action packed week long day camp will lead committed tournament golfers through three hours of coaching each morning from 8:30am to 11:30am with Laird White and his team at The Golf Academy at The Georgian Bay Club. Each afternoon participants will play at a different area golf course. Wednesday’s round will be an actual competitive event at the BAGS Junior Tour Invitational at Batteaux Creek GC. Space is limited to only 9 players.

Program Overview:
The focus of the morning sessions day 1 through 3 will be on tournament preparation. Day 4 will consist of post tournament analysis and day 5 Shot by Shot statistical analysis and practice strategies going forward. Each afternoon the participants will travel to a different area course for an full round of golf. Golf each day will consist of different formats placing the players in different scenarios of individual and team golf. A component of on-course instruction and course strategy will also be included.
Each player will take home a detailed analysis of their game and game plan going forward.

Daily schedule:
The players need to report to the Academy building at Georgian Bay Club each morning by 8:25 sharp. Lunch and transportation to afternoon golf session is included. Players will need to be picked up from each golf course at the end of the day.
Day one Monday August 9:

11:35 Players will be relocated to Blue Mountain G&CC for lunch

6:00 Parents pick up players from Blue Mountain G&CC
Day three Wednesday August 11:
8:30 – 11:30 at the Academy Building Georgian Bay Club
- Rules of Golf – guest speaker from GAO
- Pre and post event preparation
- Pre and post shot routines
- Thoughts between shots
11:35 Players will be relocated to Batteaux Creek Golf Club for lunch
1:00 Players to participate in the BAGS Junior Invitational at Batteaux Creek Golf Club
6:00 Parents pick up players from Batteaux Golf Club
Day four Thursday August 12:
8:30 – 11:30 at the Academy Building Georgian Bay Club
- Post tournament review
- Post event training
11:35 Players will be relocated to Monterra Golf Club for lunch
1:00 Golf at Monterra
5:30 Parents pick up players from Monterra
Day five Friday August 13
8:30 – 11:00 at the Academy Building Georgian Bay Club
- Maximizing practice by making it fun - the best practice games and exercises
- Shot By Shot –statistical analysis review
- Players will receive a detailed game analysis and future game plan program
11:35 Players will be relocated to Tomahawk GC for lunch
12:30 Short game competition at Tomahawk GC
4:00 Parents pick up players from Tomahawk
Cost:
Book prior to June 30st
Member: $825 + 41.25gst = $866.25
Non-Member*: $840 + 42.00gst = $882.00
Book after July 1st
Member: $825 + 107.25hst = $932.25
Non-Member*: $840 + 109.20hst =$949.20
Registration Form
Fees include: Event shirt & hat, coaching sessions, lunch, transportation to the afternoon golf sessions, green fees, Shot by Shot software membership and entry in the BAGS Junior Invitational at Batteaux GC.
Players are expected to supply the following: sunscreen, snacks, drinks, a change of clothes and rain gear.
